King City RI is honored to announce Mrs. Melissa Adcock, our elementary school counselor, has been recognized by the Northwest Missouri School Counselor Association as one of their School Counselor's of the Year. This award is only given to four school counselors in the Northwest region. Her application is now forwarded onto the state level. We appreciate all the dedication, love, and hard work Mrs. Adcock provides to our district each and every day. Go Kats!

Tuesday, the Ag Construction class serviced our skid-steer for the first time. Students changed the oil, replaced oil and fuel filters, and changed the oil in the planetary gears of the tracks. A huge thank you to Tanner Law for taking the time to come in and guide the students through the process, as well as Mr. Jones for helping set everything up!

Pi Day Celebration 2026 is in the books growing and ongoing (like Pi;)) from years past. It's been dually noted to get more pictures next year. Shout out to Dorian Mason and AJ Harrell for serenading our student body with the first 100 digits of Pi, and to all of our participants in this years pie eating contest and search for Pi all over the school. Cheers to sharing in this annual celebration! We are already making plans and looking forward to next year:).
