Today was the All-District Band clinic and concert. King City had two students audition for the ensemble in November. Latham Kollitz, tenor saxophone, was selected as first alternate chair tenor saxophone. Kenden McGhee participated as 10th chair trumpet on the day of the event. The junior high honor band was under the direction of Ky Hascall. The band performed five pieces on the concert; one of the songs, titled "No Time for Rest," was composed by Mr. Hascall.
