Congratulations to Wylie McKinnon and Traeh Swank for earning the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy.


The HS Scholar Bowl team had a great run at state, finishing third. Congratulations to Cooper Mooney for placing 4th on the All State Scholar Bowl Team. Also congratulations to our fellow GRC West team, North Andrew, for placing first! So glad we could both represent NWMO in the Class 1 State tournament!

The Kats had a good showing at the Class 1 District 4 tournament today in Chillicothe.
These boys finished 9th place overall.
Jax Jundy, Gage Parsons, and Tucker Mollus all shot personal bests.
Jax's score of 84 earned him All-District honors and he will be representing King City at the MSHSAA State Golf Championship on May 19 & 20.
It's a great day to be a Wildkat!



The 4th-grade students walked to the Countryside Village Assisted Living to meet their pen pals. It was an amazing experience and everyone had a great time!











King City defeats The Summit Preparatory School 210-200 earn 3rd place in MSHSAA Class 1 State Scholar Bowl.


King City falls to North Andrew 250-150 in Round 3 of the Class 1 Scholar Bowl. King City will compete for 3rd place at 3:30.


King City and North Andrew are about to face off for a spot in the Class 1 State Finals of Scholar Bowl. #GRCWest showdown.


King City falls to North Shelby 310-210 in Round 2 of the Class 1 Scholar Bowl. This is a round robin format. Teams are playing for a spot in the final bracket.


King City wins Round 1 of the Class 1 Scholar Bowl by a score of 240-130 over The Summit Preparatory School.

Anyone interested in getting live updates of the HS Scholar Bowl Team's state final four games can use the following link. The Kats play The Summit Preparatory at noon, North Shelby at 1 pm, and North Andrew at 2 pm. The final game at 3:30 pm is based on the seeding from the round robin.

Last field trip of the year for Mrs. Johnson's Class! Thank you, KCE PTO for this amazing trip! Students who met their 4th quarter AR goal went to Ricky Dean's Tuesday morning. So much fun!
