JH and HS Cheer Tryouts are coming soon!

Last night the JH Academic Team played their last meet of the season. The team won both of their matches! Overall the team had a phenomenal year with only one loss for the entire season! Great job scholars, we look forward to next season!

We kicked off #ReadAcrossAmerica week with a deep dive into the world of Dr. Seuss! Our classrooms were buzzing with creativity and life lessons:
4th Grade explored the rhythmic world of Gerald McBoing Boing, mastering the art of onomatopoeia. Zap! Boing! Bam!
3rd Grade dove into Yertle the Turtle, discussing the importance of kindness over greed. They took the "Turtle Tower Challenge," building the tallest structures possible using only marshmallows and toothpicks.
The real lesson hit home when they had to remove the bottom toothpick (representing Mack!). They quickly saw how a lack of support at the bottom makes the whole tower crumble. A great reminder that every member of a community matters!

Some of the 6th graders were able to perform a reader's theater, about arachnids, for first grade. The first graders learned that spiders are NOT insects, they are arachnids! They enjoyed having the big kids teach them.
