High School Football:  Graham Medsker

Graham is a senior leader on our team. The way he carries himself, both in the classroom and on the field, sets a good example for the rest of our team. He is a fierce competitor who is constantly striving to better himself in his sport. Graham is also the team DJ. His playlists get the energy up for practices and games. Here's to a very deserving Kathlete

Junior High Football:  Jaxon Eaton

Jaxon has really improved over the past year taking on a new role as our starting running back. He has led our team in rushing and in total touchdowns. Jaxon also is one of our defensive tone setters and receives kicks for us on Kick-Off return. Very proud of all his hard work and I look forward to just how much better he can get before next year !

Girls Golf:   Lyla McKinnon

Statistically speaking Lyla has consistently placed as our top golfer throughout the season.  She has stepped into the role as team captain helping coach and encourage younger golfers on and off the course.  It has been a blessing watching her learn the game of golf over the past two years, and to see how much she has improved in that time is inspiring.  She is an example to others and helped lead our team with a servant’s heart and we appreciate her attitude and efforts along the way.

Varsity Volleyball:  England Garlock

Senior England Garlock has played exceptionally well throughout the season and continues to be a shining example of leadership and character. She leads with humility, works hard to grow her own game, and inspires those around her to do the same. Both on and off the court, England embodies the values of dedication and teamwork that define what it means to be a true Kathlete.

Junior High Volleyball:  Hudsyn Sample

Hudsyn has consistently been a strong player for our team. During our conference tournament Hudsyn led the team in kills and aces, with multiple saves defensively. She is at every practice ready to work hard. I have really enjoyed coaching her this year.

High School Cheer:  Danika Eiberger

Danika Eiberger is the Varsity Cheer Kathlete of the month of September. Danika is always willing to put in the work no matter what the need! From new ideas, cheering at games, and stunting Danika is ready to go and gives it her all. I appreciate her asking questions and making sure I am staying on task when things get hectic. Thanks, Danika, for being a positive member of our squad.

Junior High Cheer:  Emersun Davis

She is new to the cheer squad and she has been working so hard to learn all of the cheers along with coming up with new ones. She is full of energy and positivity! There is never a dull moment with her! I have really enjoyed coaching her this year.

High School Softball:  Bailey Hutchcraft

For the September nomination of the King City/Union Star High School Softball Team, I would like to nominate Bailey Hutchcraft. Bailey has significantly improved her skills behind the plate and has done a great job staying after and working with the coaches on her batting. Bailey always has a smile on her face and is willing to work hard every game and practice. Bailey is a joy to have on the team!

Junior High Softball:  Charley Parsons

Charley showed great improvement throughout the season, stepping into fill roles when we needed her too. Charley has a great attitude and works very hard. Charley put in extra work throughout the season to better herself for her team. Charley was always a great teammate to everyone and willing to do extra when called upon. Congratulations Charley!
