High School Varsity & JV Baseball
March: Ryder Sample & Kenstin Aborn
Baseball Kathletes for the month of March are Ryder Sample and Kenstin Aborn. Ryder is a varsity starter who kicked off the 2025 season with well rounded baseball. In March, he led the team in total hits and had zero strike outs. He also performed well defensively, and on the mound struck out 10 batters in 8 innings. Kenstin is a great addition to our team and covers 3rd for us on J.V. As a freshman he shows leadership and often helps out cleaning up, getting gear out for the day and making sure it gets put back, without being asked. Both Kathletes represent the school well.
April: Darwin Bowden
April's Baseball Kathlete of the month is Darwin Bowden. Darwin has had a great 2025 season and he did not disappoint in April. During that time, Darwin gave 100% at each practice and every game. He often puts in work before or after practice, either picking balls at first base or working on his swing in the cage. He is great to have on the team and his teammates and coaches enjoy being around him.
