I grew up in Northeast Missouri and attended school in Brashear, Missouri grades K-12. My teachers at Brashear helped me become an avid reader, a motivated learner and a passionate athlete. After graduation, I attended Northwest Missouri State University. At NWMSU I was employed by the Intercultural International Center where I worked with students from across the globe. I was also fortunate in becoming the President of NWMSU's language honors club, Alpha Mu Gamma. As President I again was able to meet and become close friends with students from all over the world including Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, France, the Netherlands, South Korea, Japan, China, India, Finland, Germany, and England. This experience was of tremendous value to my studies at NWMSU. In 2014 I graduated with a major in Spanish/minor in English and was offered a job teaching here at King City Schools. I am certified K-12 in Spanish, 5-12 in English and have taught in both subject areas and at all grade levels in my 3 years here. My passion for sports also led me to coaching at King City. Up to this point I have coached JH Track, JH Softball, and JH Boys Basketball. I have also been an assistant coach for Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball.
