I grew up in Maysville, Missouri and attended Maysville R-1 until I graduated in 2002. My mother had a daycare in our home while I was growing up and it was through that, that I discovered my passion for working with and teaching children. After high school graduation I attended Northwest Missouri State University and graduated with an education degree with a minor in early childhood education. I began my teaching career at Virginia E. George elementary in Albany, Missouri, teaching 4th grade. I then took a job here in King City teaching 2 years in 4th grade before moving to the Title I position. I am currently teaching Title I Reading and Math and love working with these kids in a small group setting.
